Aroydee – Authentic Thai Cuisine, Frankfurt

A couple of weeks back a friend recommended us to Aroydee which is located at Stiftstraße 34, Frankfurt. It’s less than 5 mins walk from Hauptwache. For those who love Thai food (and I mean wicked Thai food!), you’ve got to try Aroydee.

It’s a tiny restaurant and gets really crowded during dinner. A lot of German cuisine (almost all actually) aren’t spicy so I got very excited when I saw the different thai chilli sauces on the table! We were so hungry that we didn’t bother looking at the menu. Instead, we pointed at what someone else was having and ordered that. Therefore, I don’t even know what I had. Let’s just call it Fried Chicken Kway Teow.

The kway teow tasted just like the one I had at the food court in the basement of Mitsui Bangkok. The serving portion was huge (as usual…) but I was hungry so I finished it all by myself.

I’ll definitely want to visit it again and try other dishes!
